Learn more about Black & White Series

Above you will find all Black & White sets released within the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This series brought the fifth generation of Pokémon from the Unova region, with Zekrom and Reshiram as its figureheads, introduced the ACE SPEC cards and brought the Pokémon-EX back — in the EX series of 2003 they were still called Pokémon-ex in lower case.

More important for collectors: this is where the Full Art card was born. A card on which the artwork runs the full height instead of sitting in a frame — the format every modern chase card still uses. In the XY series the Trainer card got the same treatment, but the idea started here. Anyone who wants to know where the modern collecting market comes from looks at this series.
