What is a Pokémon Pre-Order?

With a pre-order, you can reserve a new Pokémon product in advance. This way, you're guaranteed your purchase as soon as the product is officially released.

When will my pre-order ship?

We ship pre-orders immediately on or shortly after the official release date, so you get the product as soon as possible.

Can I combine a pre-order with products that are immediately available?

Yes, but please note: the entire order will only be shipped once the pre-order items are in stock. If you want to receive the available items sooner, please place two separate orders.

Do I have to pay for the pre-order in advance?

Yes, when you pre-order, the amount is charged immediately. This guarantees your reservation.

What happens if the release date changes?

If the official release date shifts, we email you as soon as we know and we keep your pre-order open until the product arrives. If you do not want to wait any longer, we cancel your pre-order free of charge and you get your money back within a few working days.

Can I cancel my pre-order?

Yes, as long as your order has not been shipped yet. Email us at info@rarecards.nl with your order number and we will cancel the pre-order and refund the amount. On top of that you always have the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days after receipt.

This page holds the Pokémon products you can order in advance: sets that have been announced but not yet released. The release date is listed with every product, and we ship as soon as the stock reaches us.

Why order ahead? With a new set, the first delivery is the moment the price sits lowest. What happens after that depends on demand: with some sets the price drops further, with sets that sell out quickly it climbs. So a pre-order is no guarantee that you pay less, but it does mean you are there at release — and with sets that sell out on release day, that is the difference between having one and not.
