Sleeved Booster Packs

For many people who just buy Pokémon packs to open, a sleeved booster pack might not seem immediately logical. They're often a bit more expensive than a regular booster pack, even though they contain exactly the same items.

However, sleeved booster packs are very popular, especially with collectors. They would like to have at least one or more (art set) packs from each series in their collection.

Some fans actually buy them to open them: they tear open the sleeve, leaving behind a booster pack that still looks brand new. The extra cardboard sleeve ensures that the booster pack itself remains in perfect condition, which is incredibly important for collectors.

Another reason people buy sleeved booster packs is because they cannot be weighed With individual packs, sellers sometimes weigh them to determine the chance of rare cards. That doesn't work with sleeved packs, and with RareCards, you don't have to worry about that at all. We guarantee that with us, is never weighed.

A sleeved booster pack is an ordinary booster pack inside an extra plastic sleeve with its own artwork. The pack inside is identical to a loose pack from the same set: the same cards, the same odds. What you get on top is the sleeve.

That sleeve does two things. It protects the pack against creases and pressure marks, which matters if you want to keep packs sealed. And it makes the pack harder to judge from the outside, because you can no longer feel or weigh anything through it. Most sets come with several sleeve designs, which is why some collectors want them complete per set rather than opening them.

If you simply want to open as many cards as possible, a loose pack or a booster bundle is the more sensible choice. If you want to keep packs sealed or collect the sleeve designs, this is the right place.
