Booster bundle or loose packs?

A booster bundle holds six booster packs from one set, in a small box. There is nothing else in it: no promo card, no coin, no accessories. That sounds like a downside, but it is exactly why a bundle exists — everything you pay goes into packs.

That puts the bundle between two things. A loose pack is the smallest step, a booster box with 36 packs is a big one. Six packs is enough to get a feel for what a set does without having to open a box.

One thing to know when comparing: the odds per pack in a bundle are the same as in a loose pack. With Japanese releases a box does come with a guarantee of at least one Super Rare or higher; a bundle does not. If you want certainty about a top card, a box is the way; if you want packs to open, a bundle is.
