Paldea Evolved was released on June 9, 2023 , as the second major expansion in the Scarlet & Violet series. The set builds on the themes and characters of the Paldea region, reviving this world with colorful cards and dynamic illustrations.

At 279 cards, Paldea Evolved is one of the larger modern sets. Much of the focus is on the Tera Pokémon ex , which have had a significant impact on competitive play thanks to their high HP and unique type combinations.
