Information about the Hidden Fates set

Hidden Fates was officially released on 23 August 2019 and grew almost immediately into one of the most hyped sets of the Sun & Moon era.

What makes this set special:

  • The introduction of the Shiny Vault (94 shiny Pokémon)
  • Shiny Charizard GX as the absolute chase card
  • Only available in special products (no regular booster box)
  • A strong focus on popular Pokémon such as the Eeveelutions and Mewtwo
  • Several reprints because of extreme demand

Hidden Fates combined limited availability with an exceptionally strong subset, which kept sealed products rising in value for years. The Shiny Vault cards in particular are seen as core pieces within modern collections.
