BREAKpoint is the ninth set in the XY series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on February 3, 2016. This set introduced 123 new cards and further expanded the BREAK Evolution mechanic with Pokémon such as Greninja BREAK and Luxray BREAK. With a heavy focus on Water- and Psychic-type Pokémon, as well as powerful EX cards like Mega Gyarados-EX, this set offered new strategic possibilities for players and collectors.
