Brilliant Stars

Brilliant Stars is the ninth set of the Sword & Shield series, released on 25 February 2022. The set holds 216 cards — 172 regular and 44 secret rares — and introduced the VSTAR mechanic.

This is also where the Trainer Gallery began: a subset of 30 cards that sits inside the set but has its own numbering, starting with TG. That is exactly where people miss them, because in a list sorted by number they do not sit among the ordinary cards but separately. If you want Brilliant Stars complete, bear in mind that alongside those 216 there is a separate run of 30.
