Chaos Rising

Chaos Rising is the fifth expansion within the Mega Evolution series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and was released on 22 May 2026. The set has 122 cards, is based almost entirely on the Japanese expansion Ninja Spinner and revolves around Mega Greninja ex. It contains five Mega Evolution Pokémon ex — Mega Pyroar ex, Mega Greninja ex, Mega Floette ex, Mega Dragalge ex and Mega Gallade ex — alongside five regular Pokémon ex, 11 Illustration Rares, 18 Ultra Rares and six Special Illustration Rares.

Chaos Rising is almost a one-to-one version of the Japanese Ninja Spinner set, but not quite, and that is where searching often goes wrong. Mega Gallade ex, Krookodile ex and Adversity Policy were added for the English release, while the Fennekin Illustration Rare was taken out of the main set and only comes as a promo with the Elite Trainer Box. A Japanese set list therefore does not cover this set completely.
