Cosmic Eclipse

Cosmic Eclipse is the twelfth and last set of the Sun & Moon era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on 1 November 2019. At 271 cards it is the largest set of the era, with Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX among others and the new Character Rares.

Those Character Rares were something new in the game. Until then the artwork almost always showed the Pokémon on its own; on a Character Rare the trainer is in the picture too, in a scene. That idea later grew into the illustration cards that are hunted hardest today, but it started with this group at the end of the Sun & Moon era.
