Expedition

Expedition Base Set is the first set in the e-Card series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on September 15, 2002. This set introduced 165 new cards and was the first to be compatible with the e-Reader, an accessory for the Game Boy Advance which allowed special codes on the cards to be scanned for additional content. Featuring reprints of classic Pokémon such as Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur, as well as new holographic cards and a revamped card layout, this set offered both collectors and players a unique experience within the TCG.
