That is useful if you are working through a Japanese set: the card list and the numbering line up, so you can use a Japanese checklist to see what you are still missing. What you cannot do is go by an English set list — Korea follows Japan, and those two do not line up.

What makes Korean Pokémon cards different?

Korean Pokémon cards are official releases from The Pokémon Company, printed entirely in Hangul. They follow the Japanese structure rather than the English one: a Korean booster box holds 30 packs of 5 cards, just like a Japanese one, where an English box holds 36 packs of 10 cards.

That makes Korea interesting if you are working through a Japanese set list: it is largely the same card list in another language. But do note that it is not a copy. Korea has its own set codes, its own release history and even a few sets that exist only in Korean. So search by the Korean set name and not by the Japanese one.
