Collection: Legendary Collection

Legendary Collection is a special set within the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on May 24, 2002, and contained 110 reprinted cards from previous sets such as Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, and Team Rocket. It was the first set to introduce reverse holo cards, which added a new collecting element to the TCG. Technically, it was "Base 3", a sequel to Base Set 2, but due to that set's poor reception, it is believed Wizards of the Coast changed the name to start fresh. Due to its nostalgic value and unique holographic patterns, Legendary Collection later became one of the most sought-after sets among collectors.
