OP-02: Paramount War

OP-02: Paramount War is the second official booster set of the One Piece Card Game and builds on the foundation Romance Dawn laid down. The set had its worldwide release on 9 March 2023.

Like OP-01, Paramount War holds a full base-set count of around 121 unique cards, including all the basic cards you need to build a range of decks. The set has a similar rarity spread to earlier boosters: Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares and Leader cards, all designed to widen your strategic options.

Thematically Paramount War focuses on the great war from the One Piece storyline, where major powers such as the Marines, the Yonko and the Revolutionary Army collide. That is why this set holds many cards with characters, events and mechanics that fit those epic confrontations, including iconic figures such as Monkey D. Garp, Edward Newgate (Whitebeard) and Monkey D. Luffy in various playable forms.

The cards in Paramount War cover several types such as Leaders, Characters, Stages and Events, and offer playing styles around themes like Impel Down, Navy and the Straw Hat Crew. That makes the set well suited to strengthening existing starter decks or exploring new deck strategies.

Alongside the ordinary card play material, Paramount War also contains parallel variants and foil print runs for collectors to go after, which is why the set is often sought out by players building competitive combinations as well as by people expanding their collection.
