OP-04: Kingdoms of Intrigue

OP-04: Kingdoms of Intrigue is the fourth official booster set of the One Piece Card Game and was released worldwide on 22 September 2023. With this release the focus shifts from raw power to political intrigue, kingdoms and power structures within the One Piece world, drawn directly from several iconic story arcs.

The set holds 124 unique card types. The card spread consists of Leader cards, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares and Secret Rares, topped up with parallel (alt-art/foil) variants. As with earlier sets, booster boxes contain a box topper card, which makes the set appealing to collectors too.

Kingdoms of Intrigue revolves thematically around countries, revolutions and hidden power struggles. The set puts the emphasis on arcs and factions such as Alabasta, Dressrosa, Baroque Works and the Revolutionary Army. The result is a strongly narrative set built around kings, rebels and manipulators, with clear synergies per faction.

The cards are a mix of Leaders, Characters, Events and Stages and introduce new interactions around cost reduction, rested characters and board control, especially within Dressrosa-based decks. In OP-04 you will find Leaders such as Nefertari Vivi, Rebecca and Crocodile, alongside popular character cards like Sabo, Koala, Bartolomeo and Donquixote crew members, spread across several colours and playing styles.

In short, OP-04: Kingdoms of Intrigue is a thematically strong and tactically deep booster set that stands out through political tension, strong factions and high deck synergy. An important set for players who value control and positioning, and for collectors who want to capture iconic arcs and characters.
