OP-05: Awakening of the New Era

OP-05: Awakening of the New Era is the fifth official booster set of the One Piece Card Game and was released worldwide on 8 December 2023. This set marks an important turning point in the game and focuses on a new era in the One Piece world, in which the balance of power shifts for good.

The set consists of 126 unique card types. The card spread contains Leader cards, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares and Secret Rares, topped up with parallel (alt-art) variants. As usual, booster boxes contain a box topper card, which adds extra collectible value.

Awakening of the New Era puts the focus on the rise of the new generation and the absolute top of the One Piece world. The set introduces Yonko-based decks for the first time and puts heavyweights front and centre, such as Monkey D. Luffy (Gear 5), Shanks, Kaido and Big Mom. That makes OP-05 one of the most impactful sets so far, both thematically and competitively.

The cards are a mix of Leaders, Characters, Events and Stages and bring new mechanics and strong synergies aimed above all at high-power plays, resource pressure and late-game dominance. Through the combination of extremely popular characters, competitively relevant cards and spectacular artwork, OP-05 is not only essential for players but also highly sought after by collectors.

In short, OP-05: Awakening of the New Era is a key set within the One Piece Card Game. It represents a new era, introduces Yonko dominance and ranks among the most sought-after releases thanks to its strong cards and high collectible value.
