OP-09: Emperors in the New World

OP-09: Emperors in the New World is the ninth official booster set of the One Piece Card Game and was released worldwide on 13 December 2024. This set is built entirely around the Yonko and the balance of power in the New World, where only the strongest stay standing.

The set holds 126 unique card types. The card spread consists of Leader cards, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares and Secret Rares, topped up with parallel (alt-art/foil) variants. As with earlier sets, booster boxes contain a box topper card, which adds to the collectible value.

Emperors in the New World focuses on the absolute top of the pirate world. The set revolves around Yonko figures such as Shanks, Marshall D. Teach (Blackbeard), Buggy and the legacy of earlier emperors such as Kaido and Big Mom. That thematic focus translates into powerful, high-impact cards and clear deck archetypes around dominance, pressure and late-game control.

The cards are a mix of Leaders, Characters, Events and Stages and introduce mechanics aimed at power scaling, resource pressure and decisive plays. OP-09 holds several competitively relevant cards and popular characters, which makes the set highly appealing to players and collectors alike.

In short, OP-09: Emperors in the New World is a heavy, high-impact booster set that puts the Yonko centre stage and pushes the One Piece Card Game further towards the highest level of power, with strong playing value and high collector interest.
