Paldean Fates

Paldean Fates is a special set within the Scarlet & Violet era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and appeared on 26 January 2024. The set holds 245 cards and is built entirely around Shiny Pokémon, including the shiny versions of the Paldea starters Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly.

Shiny sets come along roughly once per era: first Hidden Fates, then Shining Fates and now Paldean Fates. That has a consequence you notice straight away when searching. The shiny version of a Pokémon usually exists in only one of those sets, so if you want a shiny version of a Paldea Pokémon, this is the only place it can come from.
