Sword & Shield Promos is the promo series of the Sword & Shield era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and started on 15 November 2019. The list runs to 307 cards, all carrying an SWSH number instead of a set symbol. Among them you will find promo versions of Pokémon V and VMAX.

What sets these promos apart: almost every card was tied to one specific product. An Elite Trainer Box, a tin, a collection box or a prerelease tournament. Once that product is out of print, the card only circulates as a single. That is why a promo of an ordinary Pokémon can be harder to find years later than a rare from the matching set.
