Team Up

Team Up is the ninth set of the Sun & Moon era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on 31 January 2019. The set holds 196 cards and introduced the TAG TEAM GX cards, which put two Pokémon together on one card, such as Pikachu & Zekrom-GX and Eevee & Snorlax-GX.

With TAG TEAM cards the power sits in the GX attack, and it works differently from a normal GX. If you have extra Energy on the card, that same attack gets a heavier effect. So you can use it early for the basic version or wait until you have enough Energy for the full one. Since you may only use one GX attack per game, that is a real decision every time.
