EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua is the fourth set of the EX series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on 1 March 2004. The set holds 97 cards and revolves around the fight between Team Magma and Team Aqua, with Groudon-ex and Kyogre-ex.

This is where Trainer's Pokémon came back: cards where the name of the team or trainer is part of the card name. Team Magma's Groudon is therefore a different card from an ordinary Groudon. The idea began in Gym Heroes in 2000 and came back twice more afterwards, in Double Crisis in 2015 and in Journey Together in 2025.
