Gym Heroes

Gym Heroes is the first set of the Gym series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on 14 August 2000. The set holds 132 cards and revolves around the first four Gym Leaders of Kanto: Brock, Misty, Lt. Surge and Erika.

This is where Trainer's Pokémon began: every Pokémon in the set belongs to a Gym Leader, so Brock's Onix is a different card from an ordinary Onix. That idea came back three more times, with years in between each: in EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua in 2004, in Double Crisis in 2015 and in Journey Together in 2025. So when you search, the trainer's name is always part of it.

Above you will find all our cards from Gym Heroes. The condition is listed with every card.
