Fossil

Fossil is the third set in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on October 10, 1999 in North America. This set introduced 62 new cards and focused on prehistoric and Water-type Pokémon, including Aerodactyl, Lapras, and Articuno. It was the smallest set in the original series and introduced popular Legendary Pokémon such as the three Kanto birds: Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. Fossil also brought some of the first Fossil-type Pokémon into the TCG, adding a new strategic element to the game. With its unique prehistoric themes and classic artwork, Fossil remains a beloved set among collectors.
