Southern Islands

Southern Islands is a special collector's set within the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on 31 July 2001. The set holds 18 cards that were only available in a special collector's box, including Mew, Togepi and Slowking.

These eighteen cards were designed as one whole: lay them out in the right order and the illustrations form one continuous landscape. That has never been done this way again, and it makes single cards from this set different from single cards out of an ordinary set: strictly speaking you need all eighteen to see what the artist intended.
